Hey there,
If you know me at all, you know that I am always on the hunt for a good deal. I love bargain shopping, or even better, getting things for FREE! I also enjoy turning ugly things into something beautiful, there is something thrilling about the whole process.
Anyways, recently I moved into a new house. We were at a lose as to what to do in the dining room. We had no dining room furniture so when my mom asked if we wanted a free table and chairs of course I jumped on it. When I saw them I was less then thrilled about their current status but I could see the potential and it made me excited for the outcome.
Here is the “Before” of the table and chairs
I got to work sanding, hammering and painting. It was probably pretty entertaining for any by standards to watch as I’m not always the “handiest” of people. haha.

It’s still a work in progress. We decorated this room for $30! The only thing that we spent money on were the book shelves. We bought them from a friend who is downsizing.
