Breaking my back to break even

img_5122I have realized that I’m a hard worker. A lot of times I can work my booty off and somehow only break even. I’ve realized that I can break my back to break even, only God can multiply and exceed what I have. Only he can take the few fish and feed the 5,000. Human limits and restraints aren’t barriers for him.

Thankfully, God’s provision isn’t based on my circumstances, it’s based on the reality of who God consistently is. He is generous, kind, holy, mighty, he is vast and un-containable. He can provide whatever he wants or need you to have sooner then you could even imagine.

He might not always provide exactly what you want or what you think he will but he will always provide what is appropriate for that exact time in your life. We can rest assured in the fact that if we are being obedient, and following the voice of the Lord, he will always lead you to his plan A for you life. It might not be your first option or top pick but it will always be whats best for your life.

Give him what you’ve got and watch him multiply it. Only he can do that, we can only do what’s in our capability, which for even the best of humans isn’t much. We can’t even make ourselves take the next breath or keep ourselves from death. It’s pretty humbling when you realize that even when you get your “dreams” you can’t make them succeed, God has to water them and make them something bigger than your limited, finite mind can think up.

“So if you find life difficult because you’re doing what God said, take it in stride. Trust him. He knows what he’s doing, and he’ll keep on doing it.” 1 Peter 4:19

Keep pressing into Him and he will make all of the things happen in your life & in your story that are supposed to. xoxo
