Our souls were created for so much more than weightless emotions, cheap thrills fleeting romance and cautious dreams.
It’s not that our goal of being human is too high, instead the vision of our humanity is far too low for what our loving creator made us for. We must return to the one who made us to ask, long and desire to know who we are.
But if you embrace the way God does things, there are wonderful payoffs, again without regard to where you are from or how you were brought up. Being a Jew won’t give you an automatic stamp of approval. God pays no attention to what others say (or what you think) about you. He makes up his own mind. Romans 2:9-11
Who you are or what you’ve done might have been holding you back from dreaming bigger until this point. I just want to tell you that nothing but your own self can disqualify you from the future that you have because of Christ.
Increasing the vision doesn’t necessarily mean that we should increase the number of people, or things you are doing. That’s not necessarily a sign of a larger vision from God’s perspective (although sometimes it might be).
Increasing the dream starts by knowing your identity and standing strong in his purposes for you. Understanding the gospel, what Jesus did for us, and how he brought us total and complete freedom are central to this journey. This will show you your identity and when our identity becomes more defined we can start thinking about our dreams with sharper, more divine clarity. All of this begins from a revelation of HIM and what he did for us. When we fix our eyes on Jesus, we become who were supposed to and can’t help but dream bigger and trust more.
The God-setting-things-right that we read about has become Jesus-setting-things-right for us. And not only for us, but for everyone who believes in him. For there is no difference between us and them in this. Since we’ve compiled this long and sorry record as sinners (both us and them) and proved that we are utterly incapable of living the glorious lives God wills for us, God did it for us. Out of sheer generosity he put us in right standing with himself. A pure gift. He got us out of the mess we’re in and restored us to where he always wanted us to be. And he did it by means of Jesus Christ. Romans 3:21-24
Jesus died for us and in turn put us in right standing with God. He made a way for us to be sons and daughters and gave us full access to his righteousness. That means that the only limitations that we have regarding dreams and our future are the ones that we give ourselves. We have to ability to inherit ideas and dreams from HEAVEN. We are fully equipped for the big things and the free life that HE has in store for us!!!
God sacrificed Jesus on the altar of the world to clear that world of sin. Having faith in him sets us in the clear. God decided on this course of action in full view of the public—to set the world in the clear with himself through the sacrifice of Jesus, finally taking care of the sins he had so patiently endured. This is not only clear, but it’s now—this is current history! God sets things right. He also makes it possible for us to live in his rightness. Romans 3:25-26
Dream bigger. I know I want to. ✨🌺🌳
