The other day God was talking to me about my thoughts. He showed me a picture and it revealed to me that when I have small thoughts about myself it’s like my huge calling being built on tooth picks. We need our thoughts to be more like columns then toothpicks.
I have to partner with God and what he believes and says about me to get bigger (and better) thoughts and gain more confidence in myself.
The reality is that I will never truly feel qualified for the calling God has for me, no matter how man great my thoughts are. Although its crucial to have good thoughts so we aren’t hindered by ourselves.
Don’t let this discourage you, this just means that the callings that God has on our lives are always so much bigger then we could ever hope or imagine. He makes our callings impossible to accomplish so we have to partner with Him. He is always faithful to equip and walk with us.
It’s important to know what he thinks about us and have confidence in who he’s made us so our insecurities don’t get in the way of the specific things he calls us to. We are called to make things happen that require confidence and security. Don’t worry, he want’s to partner with us in the process of finding our calling and security in him.
