20 Facts about me

It’s been a long time since I’ve reintroduced myself to you so here are 20 facts about me and my life.

1. I currently work for a church. I’ve been working there for 2 years as a student pastor. I work with 6th-12th graders. I’ve been doing student ministry in some capacity for over 10 years and I absolutely LOVE it!
2. I LOVE dad jokes and cheesy pickup lines. Funny memes give me life.
3. I have probably had more awkward dates than most people you’ve met. I’m sure of it. Just ask me next time you see me. But I’m worried because all of the common denominators are me so maybe I’m the weird one.
4. I cannot sit still through a whole movie unless I go to a movie theater. Unless it’s like the most captivating movie I’ve ever seen but that happens very rarely. Otherwise, I’ll probably get up about 5 times and grab stuff or walk around. It typically drives people nuts.
5. I have the ALL TIME BEST FRIENDS. Really they are so great.
6. My family is crazy, so eclectic and I LOVE them. We all get along super well. I have an older sister and two younger brothers.
7. I’m from the Charlotte NC area. Born and raised.
8. I don’t have a super southern accent because We grew up with TONS of people living in our house from other countries so I think it just rubbed off on me. It was always so fun and exciting. I learned so much from the different cultures and I loved it.
9. It’s safe to say that I am obsessed with coffee.
10. I’ve been walking with Jesus since I was 4 years old. It’s been a wild ride but I’m totally sold out.
11. My biggest pet peeve is loud chewing noises. Smacking is my worst nightmare.
12. I used to be a really big nerd and for a few years, I did bible quizzing and sewing camps. Both of which have ended up coming in real handy. It turns out, knowing the Bible and how to sew are really valuable skills.
13. I have a sister that’s 9 years older than me and two younger brothers.
14. I HATE when you have conversations with people and they literally ask no questions. Even when there is an awkward lull in the conversation and they still don’t ask questions. So annoying.
15. I also don’t like when people wear glasses that are fake. Dang hipsters.
16. Speaking of glasses, I have and need to wear glasses but most days I just go without and that’s why I have MAJOR RBF sometimes. Sorry about that. Hahahaha.
17. I have two different thumbs. They are completely different. It’s mutant like.
18. I was homeschooled until 9th grade.
19. I have never drank a glass of milk before. My dad was always allergic to milk so we never had it in our house. I grew up putting juice or yucky rice milk in my cereal. Thank God better options have come along way since then 😉
20. I love to be spontaneous and have lots of fun but I am actually hyper-organized and a get it done type of girl. I always have goals and plans that I’m working towards. I scheme a lot.
