No, I don’t currently make pottery (hopefully one day!) but my friend Bryce does. I went to watch him make some beautiful creations and teach a bowl throwing class the other day. They don’t actually throw the bowls in the air like a pizza crust like I had originally imagined when I first heard that term. It was really interesting to watch children turn a piece of clay into a beautiful piece of artwork.
