Alabama, what a surprisingly beautiful state. I have family there and have grown up going to Birmingham a lot, but this time that I went, I felt like I experienced a new city. There is a lot of cool stuff happening in Birmingham. People are friendly, the food is good, the urban areas are being revitalized and happening and as the song says, the skies are blue.
